Role and Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer interaction in textual format from different sources of data, such as social media, customer feedback system, or document.
    • Forming the ‘boundaries’ of what text data are talking about, in similar fashion to factor analysis.
    • Interpret the sentimental polarity of the text; i.e. is it positive or negative comment.
    • While in most cases there is a data set to work on, in several cases there is a need to ‘imagine’ as the data may not be available at the time. As such, upon given the question – a set of possible answers needs to be constructed.
  • Identify the key essence that leads to understanding customer interaction.
    • Able to identify ‘keyword’ or ‘keyphrase’ that pinpoint certain intention of customers. For example, for every text that contain ‘ทำไมยุ่งยากจัง’ indicates negative sentiment, and so on.
    • Construct a ‘semantic rule’ that pinpoint certain intention of customers. 
  • Turn textual data into structure data for further analysis.
    • Responsible for categorizing list of textual data into structured data to allow further quantitative data analysis. Imagine upon receiving a list of sentences, it is our responsibility to categorize each comment into meaningful answers – either by manual operation or by using machine.
    • Venture through hundreds of thousands of text data for insight.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of machine-aided text analytic operation.
    • Creation of training set
      • Create a set of answers applicable to the focus of the model. For example, in the Retail Business Customer Feedback Model, we need to have applicable such as ‘staff-behavior’, ‘facilities’, ‘product-quality’, ‘parking-availability.’ 
      • Categorize text with corresponding answers whereby it would be fed to a machine-learning system.
    • Maintain accuracy of the model
      • Conduct periodic accuracy checks by manually going through results from machines to check for errors and come up with ways to improve the performance.

Qualification

  • Possess interest in understanding customer behavior, as we are going to interpret their textual data.
  • Able to work tediously with large amounts of textual data. It is going to be a fun job for those who like to read people’s comments. At the minimum, we are going to process at least 300-500 text data in a day.
  • Although there is a need to work with machine and AI discipline, technology background is not mandatory. However, any background or interest will be very beneficial. The minimum level of technical knowledge required is comparable to using Excel function such as VLOOKUP, IF-ELSE.
  • Strong English skill, particularly in reading and writing.
  • Fresh Graduate welcome

Junior : 22,000 – 30,000 THB
